It is NOT ME that has not blogged or played NOT ME in a while, so hold on for a long one.
It was NOT MY new Kindergartner that was sent to the office for FIGHTING the first full week of school, at his PRIVATE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL!!
It was NOT ME that was somewhat relieved to hear that my Kindergartner socked the other kid on the playground because he had had enough of this Kindergarten bully picking on him.
It was NOT MY Kindergartner that said he would not be seduced by the dark side again and would listen and obey.
It is NOT MY Kindergarten going big boy that has lost yet another tooth, pulled out by himself at the kitchen table, click on the picture to see for yourself.
It is NOT MY one year old who can climb up that rung ladder to the top of the play set and go down the slide all by himself.
It is NOT MY one year old who loves to chew gum (will actually chew it and throw it away when done) and can say "guh" when he wants it, but will not say mama.
It is NOT ME who is absolutely trilled that Little Strays birth parents have signed over their rights and now we just have to wait for the paperwork to be done (I am not holding my breathe), he will officially be ours, just a matter of when.
It is NOT ME who is including a picture of Chunk just so he does not feel left out.What did you NOT DO this week.

Oh my goodness... your one year old is too adorable. I'm terrified to give mine gum for fear of choking.

Wow! You have a stalker! LOL! So glad that you all are to the paperwork stage. It all seems to take forever to get these adoptions through.

thanks for the comment. your babes are beautiful as well. our adoption is soemwhere in there but it was a fosterish / domesticish. we found out about him when he was 2 days old through friends who have a colleague who has an associate who was employing the birth mom. she wanted to place the child with a family b/c she knew the state would take him and she didn't want him in foster care. our friends had adopted internationally and didn't want more kids so called us. he was in foster care for 2 days before the birth mother surrendered her rights and he was then placed with us. sort of a crazy way to adopt... especially for our first adoption. next go around, we're doing a foster adoption though.
